PUMA's 'Futro Land' Event Recap at ComplexCon 2019

PUMA

ComplexCon Long Beach took place earlier this month hosting a selection of food vendors, art stands, shops and live performances by Kid Cudi, YBN Cordae, A Boogie and more. Heavyweight sneaker purveyor PUMA transformed their space into a unmissable futuristic carnival dubbed "FUTRO LAND" with attractions such as ring toss, video games, darts, ski ball and a palm reader. Special prizes were given out such as customized PUMA Rider bicycles and hundreds of pink PUMA x Chinatown Market soccer balls.

In one area, ComplexCon goers lined up to purchase sneakers from PUMA"s new Rider franchise.  The brand reimagined their heritage runner, the Fast Rider OG, and created two new modern versions - Future Rider and Style Rider. In another area, people queued to get PUMA's exclusive collaboration with Chinatown Market in two iterations of the Future Rider, a customizable canvas version and a pink version that was exclusive to ComplexCon.  PUMA teamed up with Chinatown Market on site for a Customization Bar allowing guests to reinvent hoodies, tees, bags and footwear with custom patches and graphics.

On Saturday, rapper Matt Ox and Cloud9 pro gamer EMZ arrived to greet fans and play live on Twitch. Beloved artist Dani Leigh also came through to take photos and play carnival games with her fans. On Sunday, Tyla Yaweh visited the booth to match up against Cloud9 pro gamer Mang0. Later the same day, YBN Cordae appeared at the booth for his fans. Ending the special appearances, A Boogie arrived to customize a  hoodie drawing a huge crowd surrounding the talented rapper.
