adidas just offered a look to the future with the latest drop from the brand's innovative 4D range, the reflective ALPHAEDGE 4D for AW19.
The adidas 4D concept was first unveiled by FUTURECRAFT – the brand's innovation incubator – in 2017 and is headlined by a unique midsole that's created by a light and oxygen powered 3D-printing process that turns programmable liquid resins into a complex geometric stucture, building a sneaker that has elite fit, form and function.
This one-of-a-kind construction is the result of a collaboration between adidas and its partner, Carbon, and eventually has the potential to create personalised footwear based on the individual needs of an athlete, and the demands of the sport they play.
The latest addition to the adidas 4D catalogue is the updated ALPHAEDGE 4D, which features an all new reflective upper. Dropping in black and white colourways, the reflective upper has benefits from a style and substance perspective – standing out on the streets, and improving visibility when training in low light conditions.
ALPHAEDGE 4D FW19 will be available globally across adidas.com, adidas_LDN Oxford St and select retailers from November 11th.
