PUMA's latest sneaker drop is merging the best of the past and future.
The wavey new Rider OG sneaker pack sees PUMA's legendary Fast Rider sneaker revamped for 2019, alongside two new silhouettes that take inspiration from the original and provide modern updates to their iconic predecessor.
The new Fast Rider OG sneaker comes in two colourways, and is updated authentically retaining the signature colour blocking and shock-absorbing Federbein sole of the original that kicked off a new era as Germany’s first “jogging” shoe in the 1980s, and helped move running from the track and onto the street.
As part of the sneaker pack, PUMA are also dropping two bold new silhouettes that join the brand's line of FUTRO (future meets retro) designs in the form of the Future Rider OG, and Style Rider OG which provide modern, streetstyle approaches to the iconic OG sneaker and are both set to make a splash on the streets.
Drawing upon the classic yellow/blue colourway of the Fast Rider OG, the Future Rider OG is a new casual-cool streetstyle silhouette which features a deconstructed upper consisting of nylon and suede overlays, a corrugated outsole and a TPU heel stabilizer for steadiness.
The Style Rider OG also comes correct with new materials with a breathable mesh and overlays in suede, a bulky midsole, and the new shock-absorbing RIDERFOAM for high rebound. Also featuring a corrugated outsole for a reduced look, this is an essential for the next generation of streetstyle.
