The Weekly Drop: Your Guide to Australian Sneaker Releases, July 6

How to cop the Sneaker Politics x Saucony 5000 'Cafe Du Monde' in Australia this week

It's a different flavour this week. After weeks of continuous releases, Yeezy is taking the week off. Virgil has nothing for us, NIke don't have a new Fear Of God, Undercover, or Sacai collab. There's not even a retro Jordan in sight. This might just be a week for the serious sneakerheads only.

Leading the pack this week is the Sneaker Politics x Saucony 5000. Keen to spread some Louisiana love across the classic Saucony silhouette, Sneaker Politics have based this one on the famous beignets at the 504's Cafe Du Monde. These might just be the most delicious-looking sneakers to hit shelves in all of 2019. The deep fried 5000s hit shelves Friday July 5 at Up There, Laced and Concrete Jungle.

Also this week, the Daybreaks are on shelves after a delay (you may have noticed we mentioned these last week) and the second chapter of the Nike x Stranger Things collab.

Plus, the ladies are (finally) looked after with both the Nike Zoomx Vista Grind and the wild Jordan Latitude 720.
