Hot on the heels of the release of Tyler, the Creator's fifth studio album Igor, the Viceland-owned Youtube channel Noisey takes fans down a trip to memory lane by bringing back throwback footage for Tyler's TV series Nuts + Bolts.
The video kicks off with Tyler arriving at the Converse Headquarters in Boston, MA. Tyler, who currently is in partnership with the brand, is taken through the entire creation process behind the classic One Star model before he is tasked with creating a pair himself. A behind-the-scenes look at the design process of the Golf Le Fleur x One Star shoe plays out in the video above.
This video originally aired back in 2017, coinciding with the year that the Tyler x Converse line debuted. Since then, Tyler has released a handful of Golf Le Fleur x Converse sneakers, the most recent being the "Quilted Velvet" collection that launched this past Friday. Prior to the ongoing partnership with Converse, Tyler, the Creator had collaborated with Vans back to 2013 and worked on an Adidas x Golf line.
