Paris Fashion Week happened last week. This story is a bit late, but that’s how things go. Sometimes it takes a minute to soak things in for it all to make sense. The biggest thing we saw this year, viewing the shows from our phones and social media, was that sneaker culture broke through the glass ceiling at these events. It wasn’t something that people could show off to prove that they’re down. Sneakers are a big attraction now, and the brands know it. They’re working with these high-end labels and producing great products and energy through collaborations and footwear placement in the shows. But how is it all changing the game, as cliche as it to say? Here are five ways that we saw it happen.
