Philadelphia-based sneaker boutique Lapstone and Hammer is doing its raffle for this weekend's highly-anticipatedĀ Nike AirĀ Fear of God 1 release a little bit differently. Rather than simply have customers enter a traditional drawing, the shop is asking everyone to help rasie money for the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia.Ā
The Philly retailer has set up a page on Fundly. Anyone trying to score a pair of Jerry Lorenzo's original performance modelĀ will have the option to donate an amount of their choosing from $2 to $100. The goal is to raise $10,000 by Monday, Dec. 17Ā with 100-percent of the proceedsĀ being donated to the aforementionedĀ charity toĀ support local youth in Philadelphia. At the time of writing this post, the effort has already raised almost $4,000 in roughly an hour.
Lucky winners will be chosen at random on Monday, Dec. 17 to purchaseĀ a pair of the "Black" Nike Air Fear of God 1 in the size of their choosing (men'sĀ 8-13). Retail is set at $350. Anyone looking to enter Lapstone and Hammer's fundraiserĀ can do so here.
Not a Philly local? No worries. The winners will be shipped their pairs no matter theĀ location.
