The short-form mobile video app, which merged with musical.ly earlier this year, is a user-driven platform that encourages members to express themselves in ways that are silly, serious, and everything in between. Users can even add a soundtrack to their vids, through the app’s library of hit songs and beats.
Fittingly, TikTok will be making its presence known at ComplexCon, setting up a customized videobooth where attendees can shoot videos of the fresh and crispy sneakers they’re wearing. From there, they can post the clips to the app using the hashtag #CanYouKickIt, which will automatically unlock the chance for participants to win exclusive sneakers and merch at the weekend-long event.
