PUMA are taking it to the skate bowl for their latest limited-edition Suede drop.
To celebrate 50 years of the iconic PUMA Suede, the sneaker giants are dropping a series of limited-edition Suedes and the latest in that series sees them join forces with Northern Cali natives and skate culture icons Santa Cruz Skateboards in another epic collab.
The PUMA Suede 50 x Santa Cruz recognises the Suede's rich heritage in skate culture. With its thick sole providing a perfect platform for half-pipe power moves, the Suede emerged as a sneaker of choice for skaters in the early-00s. More often than not, the Suedes were paired with apparel from iconic brands like Santa Cruz – so it makes perfect sense the two brands are linking up to celebrate the Suede's value to skate culture in 2018.
The Santa Cruz 1985 'Screaming Hand' logo is embroidered on the side of each heel, the blue hand against the black suede upper. The Formstrip becomes the scream, a wave of red sound and adrenaline. The artwork is enveloped in a lush black suede upper atop a gumsole. Meanwhile, the PUMA and Santa Cruz logo is featured on the sneaker tongue. Dropping alongside the sneaker is the PUMA x Santa Cruz Tee, making it a collection not to miss.
