Nike is following up the return of the Air Max Plus' 2008 "Shock Orange" colorway on the Air Max 97 Plus with another style that originally launched that same year.

This upcoming pair of the hybrid silhouette sports a white mesh Air Max Plus upper with gradient overlays that flow from navy blue to metallic silver. Navy blue patent leather is used on the tongue, mud guard, and heel and silver is used on the pair's various branding hits.

The upper sits atop a white Air Max 97 midsole with a navy Air bag and black outsole. The usual 3M hits and "Mx Air" heel logo also return on this Yankees-esque color scheme.

An official release date has not been announced, but look for the "Navy/White" Air Max 97 Plus to launch soon for $175.

UPDATE (06/09): Officially named the Air Max 97/Plus "Silver Shark" with the Plus upper's resemblance to a shark sitting on top of the Air Max 97 "Silver Bullet" tooling, the sneaker is set to release on June 16, 2018, at 10 A.M. EST via Nike SNKRS.
