Shane Gonzales of Midnight Studios flips two classic Converse silhouettes inside out, providing a highly anticipated, deconstructed collaboration.
The collaboration between the mastermind behind Midnight Studios and Converse offers unique takes on both the Chuck 70 and One Star, takes that at first glance may seem unfinished. The achieved aesthetic has been accomplished by reimagining and reconstructing both silhouettes against a natural, unbleached greige canvas.
Wash instructions and sizing information sits in unfamiliar positions, typically seen on the inside but now making their way to both shoes exteriors. Branding elements have been partially eliminated, making these feel familiar while completely new.
The Midnight Studios x Converse collaboration is set to hit retailers from June 15th.
