James Harden is heading into the postseason with the top seed and heavy expectations after a likely MVP-winning regular season campaign. Throughout the season, Harden made defenders' lives a living hell, using his patented crossover, stepback jumper and Euro step to rack up a league-leading 30.4 points per game. The nightmares had by his opposition pre and post-game served as the inspiration for the latest colorway of the Adidas Harden Vol. 2.
Dubbed "Nightmare," this pair is essentially all-black, with grey branding hits and a tonal print across the toe. Harden finished the season wearing customized versions by Kickstradomis.
There's an interactive element to this launch as well. A throwback to 90s-era campaigns, Adidas is hosting the 1-800-NIGHTMARE hotline, which gives callers an opportunity to win some "Nightmare" swag and extras from the brand.
The "Nightmare" Harden Vol. 2 is available to purchase at adidas.com right now and will be in stores this Saturday, Apr. 14 for $150.
