Surprise! Justin Timberlake stopped by the Toronto’s Jordan store on Wednesday evening to help release a limited number of his "2-Minute Warning" Air Jordan 3 JTH sneakers.
Lineups at the Jordan store at Yonge and Dundas started at 1pm and were around the block by mid-afternoon with hundreds of fans hoping to score a pair of Timberlake’s kicks when they were released at 6:23pm. Timberlake surprised fans and sneakerheads when he stopped by the store just before they dropped to greet fans and sign shoes for the first lucky 23 people in line.
Timberlake is in Toronto to kick off his Man Of the Woods tour. He kicked things off Tuesday night at the Air Canada Centre and seemed stoked to be in “The North” as he alternately called Toronto to big cheers.
“Here’s to mf Drake!” he added while strutting down the catwalk mid-show to celebrate opening night. “We are thrilled to be here with the first night of our Man of the Woods tour!”
The Air Jordan 3 JTH sneakers made they’re debut last month during the singer's Super Bowl LII halftime performance. Made in collaboration with legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, there were only 5,200 pairs of the "2-Minute Warning" sneakers produced, with an initial limited release on Nike SNKRS immediately following Timberlake's halftime performance.
Watch for more special-edition Air Jordan III JTHs to be dropped during select stops of Timberlake’s North American Tour.
