The highly anticipated collaborative project between Ronnie Fieg's Kith and Nike celebrating LeBron James, which first made its debut this past Sept. during Kith's "Kith Sport" show at New York Fashion Week Spring 2018, is finally arriving this weekend. The three shoe collaboration features a new interpretation of the original LeBron 15 model as well as two completely re-imagined silhouettes, and will be releasing on the same day that James celebrates his 33rd birthday.

Dubbed the "Long Live the King" collection, these three shoes celebrate LeBron's career and accomplishments. The first pair from the offering is the "Rose Gold" LeBron 15. This pair, which was worn by James during his Christmas Day game this year, sports a faint pink Battleknit upper, cream accents, matted air bags, and a rose gold Nike Swoosh on the heel. Largely the same as the original silhouette, Fieg's own premium touch is the addition of a rose gold zipper down down the center of each shoe. This allows the shoe to be worn zipped up, with or without laces, or unzipped to reveal "Kith x Nike LeBron XV" and "Long Live the King" debossing.

The other two pairs that complete the collection are Fieg's vision of a lifestyle version of the Nike LeBron 15 model. These pairs will be offered in multicolor and black/grey renditions. Details on these new pairs include a heightened ankle collar, a more traditional Flyknit upper in place of the sturdier Battleknit, zippers down the medial side of each shoe, and a velcro strap system in place of laces. Each pair will be able to be given multiple, unique stylings and come with multiple straps. Options include a strap that zig zags up the full length of the upper and displays "LONG LIVE THE KING" text, a smaller strap donning Nike and Kith logos, and the ability to rock them without straps at all for an even cleaner appearance.

A short film entitled Long Live the King executive produced by Fieg also accompanied this release. The film includes clips of James, Fieg, and various figures from James' upbringing on and off the court—including his high school basketball coach Keith Dambrot, his business partner and best friend Maverick Carter, and more—discussing his legacy.

The man himself also seemed pretty happy with how the pairs came out as well when he got a chance to see them for the first timeAny fans of Kith or LeBron James interested in copping their own will be able to on Saturday, Dec. 30 when they release exclusively at Kith stores and The "Rose Gold" Nike LeBron 15 will retail for $200, while the two Lifestyle 15s will drop at a $230 price point. The online release will take place at midnight.

The "Long Live the King" collection will be releasing alongside the second delivery from Kith Winter 2017 as well.
