Continuing a partnership that began in 2005, Adidas and the University of Kansas have announced a long-term extension that will keep the two linked through 2031. Adidas will provide uniforms, footwear, apparel and accessories across all men's and women's athletics for the Jayhawks.

“Kansas has built one of the most impressive athletic programs in the country,” said Adidas North America President Mark King. “They have winning records, inspirational leaders and a culture that pushes boundaries. We share a passion to create and innovate in everything we do."

In addition to providing gear, Adidas will promote the Jayhawk brand with emphasis on impacting former, current and future alumni. Resources will support the school in its future capital investment initiatives, while also helping establish KU Scholars, an open source collaboration with Adidas that will provide students with access to new global initiatives.

“Adidas has an ambition to shape the future of sport," said Adidas Director NCAA Jim Murphy. "With Kansas, we are recreating what it means to be a partner in this space through the lens of creativity and innovation; reimagining how we will work with a premiere academic and athletic institution, like Kansas.”
