As part of adidas Original's EQT Creator Studio, GRM Daily took over a day to curate a quality music-led day of sounds and sights.
Connecting with the ethos of the week "stripping back to everything that is essential, nothing that is not," first up was a discussion on 'The Making Of A Track'. Hosted by Yung Filly, the conversation featured video director Rick Frost and music producer Steel Banglez on the panel, sharing tips and quips on their individual journeys.
Steel Banglez revealed future plans, including an unreleased collaboration with Dave, J Hus and Mist, with Frost sharing details of future visuals for the likes of Craig David and Tory Lanez.
After the discussion was wrapped, a workshop studio session centered on investigating how artists and producers both tackle the music making processes; from beats to lyrics, studio sessions and last-minute changes and tweaks. Remedee, Not3s, Tion Wayne and Belly Squad were on hand to help craft a record throughout the session, and offer the differing perspectives of their creativity, for a packed audience of guests.
To close out the night, guests were treated to their favourite hits from the likes of SNE, Tion Wayne, Not3s, Lotto Boyzz,​ Kojo Funds and more performing alongside live quartet The Compozers to play hits like they've never heard them before.
