When legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield was conceptualising what would soon become the Nike Air Max 87, one of his first concept sketches was deemed 'too futuristic' and impossible to create. The scrapped sketch was found some thirty years later, and became the Nike Air Max Zero.
