New York City sneaker resell shop Stadium Goods is extending its reach in Asia via a new partnership with the Alibaba Group's Tmall Global platform. The partnership gives shoppers in China access to Stadium Goods' inventory here, and has the upside of vastly increasingly the visibility of items dropped off at the store by sellers.

In a press release, Stadium Goods co-founder and CEO John McPheters spoke to the benefits of the new program.

"As a leader in the sneaker marketplace, we’re excited to be partnering with China’s most premiere destination for selling and buying," McPheters said. "We believe together, Tmall Global and Stadium Goods will offer sneaker enthusiasts throughout China the most premium level of customer experience and authenticity for the Chinese consumer."

Since its inception, Stadium Goods has made moves to increase the visibility of its products that allow the store to sell shoes via platforms beyond its brick-and-mortar location and webstore. In November, 2015, Stadium Goods announced a partnership with eBay that essentially made all of its product available for sale at the massively popular ecommerce site.
