The Rio Olympics are just a little over a month away, and adidas is getting ready in a big way with three "Olympic Medal" Ultra Boost colorways.
We've previewed the gold and silver colorways from this pack, and now we're learning more about the metallic-coated Ultra Boosts.
Each pair is designed to represent the Olympic medals and are constructed with full Primeknit uppers, save for a leather tongue and cage on the gold version. All three colorways also use the gradient knit pattern, although it's most noticeable on the silver pair.
While the Ultra Boost Uncaged is getting most of the attention right now, the OG caged variation is far from finished. This "Olympic Medal" pack is tentatively set for an August 17 release through adidas Running retailers for $180 apiece.
