Kanye West has been far from shy about expressing his displeasure with Nike. With the not-so-factual song "Facts" on The Life of Pablo, West has made his opinion on the brand very clear. He's even specifically called out Nike for copying Air Yeezy colorways in the past. Yet and still, the sportswear giant continues to use the Air Yeezy as inspiration on new sneakers.
With a midfoot strap, high ankle and tongue, the Nike Marxman is already Air Yeezy-esque. Additionally, the latest colorway draws inspiration from the "Pure Platinum" Air Yeezy — a colorway that was used a recently March on the "Pure Platinum" Nike Air Foamposite Pro. Although West has since moved on to adidas, its clear that Nike doesn't plan to stop using what he's with the brand any time soon.
For those looking for an affordable alternative to the Nike Air Yeezy 2s, the Yeezy-inspired Marxman is available for $150 on Titolo now.
