Last December, Nike signed LeBron James to a lifetime sneaker deal, and almost immediately, people began speculating about how much the deal was worth. Now, thanks to James' business partner Maverick Carter, we're getting a better idea of exactly how much Nike put on the table.

In a new interview with GQ, Carter's asked if the deal is actually worth the billion dollars that Kanye West rapped about on "Facts." Although Carter doesn't verbally confirm the number, he responds to the question by smiling and pointing upwards, which is perhaps an indication that the deal is worth even more than anyone could've imagined.

"It's a fantastic deal. Nike feels great about the deal. That's the most important thing," Carter said. "It's the largest deal in the history of the company. Their hope is he makes even more. And our hope is that, too, obviously."

Elsewhere in the interview, Carter talks about LeBron's one-year NBA contracts, his work in the entertainment industry, and what's next for King James following his on-court career. Check it out in full here.
