After making its debut in a ton of colorways and surfacing in an upcoming low-top variation, Nike's LunarEpic Flyknit running shoe is getting a Boston Marathon makeover this week.
As the April 18 race approaches, Nike has created men's and women's LunarEpic Flyknits to put to use in the marathon. The men's colorway sports a royal blue base with a grey ankle collar, while the women's pair takes on an all-grey look that is contrasted by bright blue Flywire. Each sneaker is then plastered with Boston Marathon-themed details including a heel cup graphic, insoles, and lace aglets.
Should you choose to actually run the marathon in them, these LunarEpics will definitely get the job done, but we'd recommend saving these special edition releases for stunting purposes only. Both pairs are dropping on Thursday, April 7, for $190 apiece.
