Olympic-themed sneaker releases are going to be big this summer, and Nike's leading the way with a brand new colorway of the shoes worn by Michael Jordan during the 1992 Dream Team's epic run. But that's only the beginning.

Joining the reinterpreted Jordan VIIs will be the Nike Air Force 180 Mid "Olympic" made famous by Charles Barkley. We last saw this colorway in 2012, and they're getting another retro this summer in time for the Rio Olympics.

Unfortunately, there are no images of the 2016 version yet, but these shots of the previous release will give you a good idea of what to expect. The red, white, and blue make up is accented with hits of metallic gold throughout.

As of now, these "Olympic" Air Force 180s are set to drop at select Nike Sportswear retailers on July 7. While you wait, take a closer look at the 2012 version below courtesy of Ronnie Fieg.
