DJ Khaled has his fair share of sneakers, but there are even pairs that he can't get his diamond-clad fingers around. A few months ago, he said that Chris Paul had promised him a pair of Air Jordan CP3s, which came in green suede with a gum sole. Jordan Brand only made 33 pairs of the shoes, and they were only gifted to friends and family. Khaled, unfortunately, wasn't one of those lucky people.

Khaled said that Paul told him that he would hook him up with a pair and didn't deliver on his promise. Things were sorted out, and Khaled posted the sneakers on his Instagram page, thanking Paul and Jordan Brand's Director of Entertainment Marketing, Reggie Saunders. But Khaled isn't done with Paul, and he wants more sneakers from him.

At an event at Stadium Goods in New York City for the new issue of Sneaker News, which has Khaled on the cover, he told us, "Chris Paul is my friend. When I see him, we have Air Jordan talk all the time, and he’s got some serious Jordans that I want. He’s got them teal ones, them red ones. He gave me one of his pairs, I like ‘em, the green suede. But I’m still trying to convince him to give me one of the pairs that Jordan gave him."

The sneakers in question are the "Emerald" Air Jordan XIs that were made exclusively for Paul.

Matter of fact, Khaled let Chris Paul know: "I appreciate the sneakers and I love ‘em and I wear ‘em, but I need them teal joints. He knows what I’m talking about. If I’m not mistaken, it’s the XIs. I need those, even if they’re not my size. I need them in my room. All he’s gotta do is ask MJ for another one. Just let me get those. I ain’t never giving up, Chris Paul. I ain’t never stopping, either."

The problem is, though, that Jordan supposedly only made one pair of these sneakers, which were made to resemble Paul's birthstone: emerald.

Paul isn't the only NBA player that Khaled wants sneakers from — he wouldn't mind a pair of shoes from the NBA's reigning MVP and champion, Steph Curry. When asked what it would take to wear Curry's Under Armour sneakers, Khaled said, "Steph Curry is my friend. I’ll wear anyone’s sneakers, because I got love for the culture and the game. So I wear all types of sneakers. If Steph Curry wants to send me some sneakers, I gotta. That’s Steph Curry."

Khaled also went on to say that he has his own sneaker on the way, although he didn't divulge any other information.

But Chris Paul, if you're reading this, Khaled wants your sneakers.
