MLB AL Rookie of the Year Carlos Correa just led the Houston Astros to a W in their season opener against the New York Yankees, and the recent adidas signee got it done in a pair of one-of-one custom cleats. As if that wasn't already flex-worthy enough, the shortstop tells Sole Collector that he wants Kanye West to design a pair of cleats for him.

"[Kanye's] got great style and that would be really awesome," Correa said. "I would love that. I would give him the key because he's got the best shoe right now in the market."

Correa, who's a known sneakerhead, says you might even see him play in a pair of Yeezy Boosts this year: "I feel like that’s something we can work out for the All-Star game, Home Run Derby, or something like that."

While we'll have to wait to see if Correa's wish comes true, we do have a closer look at his insane custom cleats from today's season opener. These customs use the adidas Boost Icon 1 as their base and feature details that call back to Correa's three "families": his actual family, his Houston Astros family, and his adidas family.
