Nike made waves when it introduced the KD 8 Elite featuring an ankle high compression sleeve earlier this month, and now we have a glimpse at what the knee high version of that sneaker will look like. Sneaker Reporter took to Twitter to share a photo of Kevin Durant on the pre-game practice floor laced in a predominantly orange "creamsicle" like colorway today.
KD 8 designer Leo Chang recently revealed that this model was in the works, with a goal of combining Durant's sneakers with the compression tights that he regularly wears. "The KD 8 Elite is conceptually designed to blur the lines between the shoe, sock and tight; seamlessly transitioning between each so you can't differentiate where one begins and the other ends," Chang said. Leave it to Leo Chang and Nike to continue to push the boundaries of sneaker and apparel fusion.
