After getting its own Air Jordan XX9 last year, Marquette University just got blessed with an Air Jordan Retro PE.

These Air Jordan II Low Golden Eagles PEs were spotted by Sole Collector and represent Marquette's first Retro exclusive since 2013's sought after Air Jordan IV. For these low top IIs, Jordan Brand went all-out with the details, including Marquette insignias on the tongue and translucent sole of the navy-and-yellow sneaker. Meanwhile, the tongue and toe overlay appear to feature a safari-like texture reminiscent of 2014's Air Jordan II "Nightshade" release.

Like so many collegiate player exclusives, the chances of these actually releasing to the public are slim to none. However, if you just can't get enough of that Marquette look, the upcoming "Dunk From Above" Air Jordan IV is a pretty solid alternative.
