After the success of her first retro-styled Puma collaboration, the Suede-based Creeper model, Bad Gal RiRi launches another shoe in the Fenty line. A knockout of a design, The Trainer takes obvious inspiration from the traditional high-cut boxing shoe but is wrapped in mesh and neoprene. Although the exaggerated and aggressive high tongue and ankle collar give the impression of a high-cut shoe, this is definitely a low cut sneaker with serious fashion sensibilities. With the materials used allowing for a laceless design, these look very easy to slip in and out of. Arriving in an all-black tonal make-up, look for these this Friday

Sweden’s premier sneaker boutique Sneakers N Stuff have collaborated with Puma to drop a Blaze Of Glory that shows off their nation’s angular military camo. Dubbed the M90 (named after camo designation, introduced in 1990), the crew from Stockholm ramp up the military aesthetic compared to other camo shoes released recently, by using a heavy nylon weave that features the print. Touches of premium nubuck on the toe box and premium leather replacing the usually plastic eyeystay, give the shoe just the right touch of luxury. Subtle SNS branding on the heel and inner sole all on top of a beige TRINOMIC midsole make this one of the best looking camo pairs in a while.

The Air Jordan 12 will be getting a lot of love this year, and this latest installment is sure to spark some interest. Coming hot on the heels of the ultra-premium Public School New York Air Jordan 12 and the (unfortunately) GS-only Dynamic Pink release, the first in the themed “Poster” collection will arrive worldwide this weekend. Dubbed The Master, it is based off an old promotional poster (for the AJ12) that was almost entirely monochromatic, save for some golden highlights. Utilizing that palette, this pair is definitely going to be one of the best-selling Jordans of the year. Draped in black texture leather on a black midsole, white and gold highlights set off what will be shoe that certainly will attract some customisers (my bet is that someone is going to do an OVO custom).

Premium Japanese fashion house White Mountaineering has made a name for itself as an emerging leader in the modern Japanese fashion scene. Tied together by the concepts of design, utility and technology, the brand’s aesthetic of well-designed technical apparel once again comes to the fore in their latest collection with adidas. White Mountaineering launch three shoes, each featuring a tonal upper that features high-quality materials, all on a crisp white midsole. Simple, clean and infinitely wearable, these will be staples in the Autumn rotation.

Where? Up There (Melbourne)

The next stop in the adidas Consortium World Tour is in Wood Wood, the Danish streetwear and sneaker capital. While not as prolific with their sneaker collaborations as others in the year-long World Tour, Wood Wood is known for their high quality work. A two-part Ultra Boost pack, the men’s pair is very similar to a previous Ultra Boost collaboration pair with Hypebeast (the Uncaged model), featuring similar colour blocking of an all-black upper on top of the white Boost sole, contrasted with a white heel counter.

Wood Wood branding is featured on the tongue and features the standard plastic cage on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe. The women’s pair flips the upper colour, using an all-white palette on top of the white Boost sole. What stands out about this pair is that Wood Wood have removed the laces entirely and replaced the plastic cage with an elastic strap, turning this into a slip-on lifestyle model. Both pairs feature mistmatched colours on the heel pulls and is a great addition to the very intriguing adidas Consortium World Tour.
