Late last night, Jordan Brand announced that it would be paying tribute to Kobe Bryant with a special one-of-a-kind set of "Brilliant White" Air Jordans I-XXX which also includes the Lakers' PE colorways of the IIIs and VIIIs that he wore during the 2002-2003 NBA season.

Along with that announcement, Jordan Brand also made it known that another one-off set was made featuring black versions of I-XXX which would be sold on eBay in a one-day charity auction to benefit the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation beginning today.

The auction started at noon and someone has already placed a bid of $100,000 to own this amazing set. While $100K is already a staggering amount of money to pay for sneakers, we anticipate to the auction to generate even more cash considering just how special it is and the fact that proceeds are going to charity. The auction officially ends at 12 p.m. EST tomorrow so you have less than 24 hours to figure out a way to generate the funds necessary to cop. Just be ready to pay a possible record-breaking amount.
