Swedish-based sneaker brand Axel Arigato’s latest offering for Spring/Summer 2016 comes in the form of the Clean 90 Laceless.

Literally taking after its namesake, this new silhouette is a modern update of the original Clean 90, just with no laces. Coming in six colourways (grey, black, white, beige, navy and bordeaux) the full-grain leather kicks are higher around the ankle compared to their original predecessors, with a heel panel giving some extra dimension to the upper build.

Additionally Axel Arigato have also produced a video (which you can watch above) that offers a brief but intimate insight to the painstaking craftsmanship that goes into making the Clean 90 Laceless at their factory in Portugal. In the video the factory owner, simply known as señor Augusto, breaks down the key components of what makes a quality piece of footwear: “Good raw materials. A Good Factory. And a finishing touch with loads of care to maintain a good final product”.

The Clean 90 Laceless are available now from the Axel Arigato webstore for £150. For a closer look peep the gallery below and let us know what you think in the comments section.
