NBA floors have been full of "Black History Month" sneaker colorways today, with early looks from most brands coming a few weeks ago. We assumed Stephen Curry and Under Armour would follow last year's "BHM" Curry 1 with another this year, but up until tonight's game, we didn't know what it would look like. As expected, Curry did lace up a special colorway in honor of Black History Month and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's birthday, and it took a much different approach than last year's edition.

The "BHM" Curry 2 uses a maroon upper and a light green outsole, instead of the black, white, and grey colorway used on his signature model last year. Details about this colorway's inspiration aren't available yet, but based on the deep storytelling done on previous colorways, we're sure there is a special meaning behind these.

No word on whether these will release or remain a PE.
