Just when we thought that NBA All-Star Weekend couldn't get any bigger for sneaker releases, we now have word that the Air Jordan XI "72-10" will get a restock at multiple retailers. According to Sole Collector, both Eastbay and Finishline have a restock of this sneaker scheduled for Feb. 15.
The fact that this sneaker didn't sell out immediately last year raised some eyebrows, and now what looks to be a decent sized restock has us wondering if this is part of Nike's strategy to battle the resale market. We have to imagine that there are still a good amount of people sitting on these in hopes of selling later for a profit, but the upcoming restock will certainly hurt this sneaker's resale value. Restock or not, this was still one of the most anticipated sneakers on 2015, so grabbing them for retail would be a win for anyone.
