After a much celebrated debut last month, the adidas NMD is gearing up to make some significant moves in 2016.

The Nic Galway designed silhouette that references three vintage adidas models from the 80s - the Micropacer, Boston Super, and Rising Star - was one of the most talked about releases in the final month of 2015. The shoe's initial colorway quickly sold out along with the very limited "Key City" Consortium release.

Recently, an unreleased colorway of the NMD popped up on Instagram. The shoes were posted by Eric DLux of Power 106 which were given to him by adidas Basketball's JR Duperrier so the shoe's legitamacy is without question. But will they be releasing?  In this iteration, the NMD appears to utilize a black/white Primeknit upper but the major difference is this iteration is stripped of adi's signature Three Stripes. The clean appearance of this NMD resembles that of the popular "Uncaged" adidas' Ultra Boost which started off as a custom job before becoming an official release.

No other information regarding the shoe is available at the moment, but if this is a sign of things to come, then the NMD has a bright future.
