Yeezy season is upon us—cue the holy music—and everyone is fighting to get their hands on a pair of the “Black” Yeezy 750 Boosts, set to hit shelves Saturday, December 19.
Dominic Chambrone, known these days as The Shoe Surgeon, figured out a way to keep the hype alive and well: He’s raffling off an exclusive pair of Yeezy 750 Boosts, only there’s a “twist.”
The Shoe Surgeon is allowing the winner of that raffle to pick any sole they want, fresh out of his workshop, and he’ll attach it to the 750 silhouette. “The winner can choose between an Air Force One sole, Air Jordan 1, adidas Ultra Boost, Nike Footscape, Air Jordan III, or a classic shell-toe,” Chambrone says.
What sparked this train of thought? “The hype with Kanye's latest sneaker had me thinking of doing this. To give fans another Yeezy alternative. A one-of-one release,” Chambrone says.
Raffle entries begin today at 6 p.m. EST and run through Saturday, December 19. The shoe itself is a size 9. So anyone in the market for a legendary pair of custom Yeezy 750 Boosts should enter ASAP. All you have to do is follow @TheShoeSurgeon on Instagram, repost his picture, tag three friends and The Shoe Surgeon himself, and you’re in.
Don’t worry, though, if you can’t fit in these sneakers there’s good news on the horizon: The Shoe Surgeon plans on cooking up more raffles in 2016.
