For many sneakerheads, today was all about trying to cop the "Black" adidas Yeezy 750 Boosts. In our continuing coverage of its release, an image has surfaced of Kanye West wearing a pair of the "Black" 750s only there appears to be a bit of a difference.
The aforementioned photo was posted on Twitter via YeezyTalkWorldWide and if you look closely, West's pair doesn't appear to have midfoot straps. Considering how distinctive of a design element it is, it should be clear as day. Maybe it's the lighting. Maybe it's the picture quality. But from the looks of it, West does seem to be wearing a strapless pair of the "Black" adidas Yeezy 750 Boosts.
So what does this mean? Well, we can't be certain. West might have cut the straps off himself or it could be a sample made during the pre-production stages to see what the shoe would look like without the straps. Either way, West is probably the only person right now to have a pair. But when more 'heads catch wind of this news, don't be surprised to see an influx of strapless "customs." And that black Supreme bogo shirt West is rocking to match? Expect demand for it to skyrocket as well.
