Fans have come to expect special edition sneakers for just about every major holiday, but Christmas day is typically some of the best of the year. We already know what heat Nike athletes are going to be wearing, and now we get a look at what some of the Jordan Brand guys will lace up. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will be playing in special "Frozen Moments" sneakers when the take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas day.
The "Frozen Moments" concept looks to take inspiration from two places, with the first being the obvious connection to winter weather. The second inspiration for them could be from the famous Jordan "Frozen Moments" commercial, which displays how time seems to freeze during critical parts of the game. Both the CP3 IX and Super Fly 4 both use a cool grey, white and icy blue colorway, perfectly tying into the frozen theme. Look for these two players to try to capture some "Frozen Moments" of their own with these sneakers on during the big game.
These sneakers will release on Dec. 25th.
