Nike LeBron James' sneakers are pretty noticeable, so wearing a pair during a robbery, when you're supposed to be disguised, might not be the best idea. Robbing a bank in general isn't the best idea either, but a man in Ontario, CA decided to in a teal pair of Nike LeBron 12s. He ended up leaving them at the crime scene, which later helped authorities identify him.

According to the Mansfield News Journal, 18-year-old Taylor Crisman held the family of a Keybank employee hostage over night while instructing the employee to take money from the bank. After receiving the stolen $194,845 the next morning, Crisman left the family's home, but forgot his pair of Nike LeBron 12s. While investigating the crime, authorities presented the sneakers to a cooperating witness which helped blow his cover. "The witness told investigators Crisman has a pair of LeBrons like those and he 'had not seen him wearing them since the robbery because Crisman bought a new pair of LeBron's,'" reports the Mansfield News Journal. Luckily nobody was seriously injured, but let's hope people stick to playing basketball in LeBron's, and not committing crimes.
