PJ Tucker of the Phoenix Suns is known for lacing up heat during games, but he just outdid himself by playing in some Platinum Nike Air Yeezy IIs tonight vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. What's even cooler about this story is that he's not just wearing these to stunt, he'll be auctioning them off next month for charity.
According to his Instagram post, he will be auctioning off multiple pairs of game-worn sneakers as part of a "Kicks 4 Kids" effort with the Boys and Girls Club. Looking at some of his previous Instagram photos show Tucker's deep roots with the Boys and Girls Club, where he played a lot of basketball growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina. Nike Air Yeezy IIs are already worth a good amount of money, and now these will be even more valuable. It's great to see Tucker combining his love for sneakers with giving back to the community.
