Kobe Bryant's 20th season isn't going the way that Los Angeles Lakers' fans had hoped, and it's looking more and more like we're watching the Black Mamba's final act. Bryant's 11th signature sneaker with Nike was expected to release sometime in early 2016, but now it looks like the Swoosh might deliver it even sooner.

Sporting News is reporting that Nike will be revealing and potentially releasing the sneaker next month, after the Kyrie 2. This move would make sense considering Bryant's declining health, and the uncertainty of his basketball future. Releasing the last sneaker that he actually plays in will have a much bigger impact if Bryant is healthy and able to wear them. Injuries have cut his last few season short, so Nike may be pushing this up to make sure this sneaker can get the proper introduction and wear from one of the NBA's all-time greats. If this is indeed Bryant's final season, the Kobe 11 will definitely hold a special place in his sneaker catalog.
