In celebration of its latest Flight 23 location, Footaction and Jordan Brand will be releasing an exclusive pair of Air Jordan 1s.
Images of the "Los Angeles" Air Jordan 1 first surfaced back in June and we now know its official release details. The shoes will be available exclusively at today's grand opening of the new Flight 23 in Santa Monica. This latest iteration of the AJ 1 makes use of an all-white leather upper - ideal for that perfect year-round Cali weather - and features "23" and "LA" embossed on the back heel while a translucent outsole allows "Los Angeles" to show through. A direct contrast to its "New York" AJ 1 counterpart, expect Cali Jordan 'heads to be all over these. If you're in or around Santa Monica right now, we advise you to head over to the 3rd Street Promenade ASAP. Hopefully 'heads are sleeping and the line isn't too long.
