Just when it seemed like things couldn'tgo wrong for Under Armour, its Chief Operating Officer has announced plans to leave in 2016.
According to Business of Fashion, Brad Dickerson will step down in February, also relinquishing his position as the brand's Chief Financial Officer. Dickerson joined Under Armour in 2004 and proved to be a major player in the brand's rise to global prominence. BoF notes that the brand's $3.08 billion revenue in 2014 was more than 10 times what it made the year he joined the company.
Dickerson's next move has yet to be confirmed, but he has said that it won't be another athletic apparel company. Meanwhile, Under Armour plans to look externally for a new CFO while breaking the COO duties up between current employees. The brand's shares fell 2.3 percent yesterday morning following the announcement.
