From HTM and NRG releases to collaborations with the likes of Supreme, there are a number of rare Flyknit sneakers, but none of those are quite as exclusive as the pair you're about to see.

These personalized Flyknit Racers were made for Kenyan distance runner Abel Kirui to wear during his training for the 2012 London Olympics and are are literally one of the rarest pairs in existence. The current owner, @djmellowmusic, has a truly impressive stash of Flyknits but says that these are the most unique pair in the entire collection.

The red-and-black-based runners feature details like a "Kenya" script on the tongue, a small hit of volt across the midsole, and leather padding around the ankle to ensure that they remain comfortable while running.

To give these some added context, they were more than likely issued alongside the Volt-colored "USA" version during the Flyknit's debut at the London Olympics. Furthermore, this is not the first time that Nike has made specialized running shoes for the Kenyan team, as there was a "Air Kenya" Tailwind in 1992.

Check out an shot of Kirui wearing these rare Racers along with a handful of eBay images below, just don't count on ever being able to own a pair.
