We all know that the cats who step out in their NikeiD's or custom-painted sneakers are levels above those of us wearing general release, but what if there was a level of custom kicks that trumped all of that? Enter SWEAR, the London-based footwear brand who has partnered with online platform Farfetch to launch MYSWEAR, the first luxe sneaker customisation platform.

For the mere cost of between £200 and £5,500, you can play designer using the platform's 3D technology to choose which of the 16 silhouettes you want to customise, and then choosing from all of the options available to you, which of course includes colour, but extends to Nappa leathers, suedes and metallics, and even ethically-sourced exotic skins like python, ostrich and crocodile. That's right, you could be stepping out in some croc kicks in 4 – 6 weeks, homie.

The finished designs are all handmade in Portugal, using traditional artisanal craftsmanship, and details like embossed or foil initials can be added, you know, for that personal touch.

You might need deep pockets for these, but it seems worth it, how else can you break out something you  can tell your crew were handmade in Portugal by a real craftsmen? If you're game for the challenge of designing a dope luxe sneaker, head over to Farfetch now and start getting creative. They've even asked 50 famous people to provide you with a little inspiration to get you started.
