Today has been a big one for Back to the Future fans, especially those who have been waiting to see if Oct. 21, 2015 finally makes self-lacing sneakers a reality. Back to the Future II predicted that Nike Mags would be able to lace themselves by this day, and Michael J. Fox just proved the movie right on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
In celebration of Back to the Future Day, Fox was a special guest on the show, and all eyes were on his sneakers. The future is officially here, and it's just as glorious as we dreamed of. The sneaker will be available for auction in 2016.
