After photos of Khloe Kardashian working out in a pair of Nike Air Max 2014s hit the web earlier this week, TMZ caught up with her ex French Montana to see what he thought about them. In addition to showing him the workout photos, they asked his opinion on the recent Nike 3D printing news. Naturally, the conversation shifted to what might be the better method for selling sneakers, and Montana unsurprisingly sided with her, "I love her. She can sell whatever she wants. That's my baby," he said.

It comes as no surprise that Montana would prefer to see his ex-flame working out in Nikes instead of a 3D printer producing them, but there are other sneaker-related layers to this story. Kardashian is rumored to be dating Houston Rockets player James Harden, who just left Nike to sign with adidas. Additionally, Kardashian has family ties to the three stripes with her brother-in-law Kanye West also signed with the brand. TMZ is suggesting that Montana supporting her love for Nike is a slick move in attempt to get her back. That might be a little farfetched, but we do think Harden and West might prefer she wear some adidas next time, considering all of the publicity the photos have gotten.

3D printing may be the future of sneakers, but sometimes just seeing your old flame in a pair is enough to get you to cop.
