We know that it's still the middle of college football season, but it's not too early to start looking forward to NCAA hoops, right? While the players are training hard in preparation for the season, it looks like some team's equipment staffs are working hard, too. That's definitely the case for Marshall University, as its equipment staff took to Twitter to proudly show off the hoop team's new Nike Kyrie 1 PEs.
This sneaker comes in a cool mint green and white colorway that even non-Marshall fans will be a fan of. Additionally, it has "The Herd" printed on the inner of the tongues to make this a true Marshall sneaker. The Equipment staff also pointed out that this is just one of the three PE sneakers that the team will be wearing this season, which means there is more heat on the way. It's also interesting to note that Marshall's equipment room has it's own Twitter account, showing just how popular team shoes and equipment have become.
We don't expect this colorway to see a retail release, but Nike Blog pointed out that this colorway can be duplicated on NIKEiD.
