The "What Are Those?!" movement has run its course. It was funny at first, but after awhile, shit just became incredibly annoying, obnoxious, and played out.

A member of Reddit's sneaker community recently took to the forum to share that he got hit with a "What Are Thooosssee?!" while sporting a pair of expensive runners. Honestly, the shoes - which only the most diehard fashionistas and sneakerheads will immediately identify as the "Floral" Y-3 Retro Boosts - isn't a pair that the general public would be familiar with so the "what are those" could have been a legitimate question. But we highly doubt it.

The post sparked the community to share their own personal stories with members stating they've worn a wide assortment of kicks including hyped releases like the recent adidas Yeezy Boost 350, classics like the Air Jordan XI "Columbia," and an array of LeBron and Kobe signature models.

While getting smacked with a "what are those" in public can be aggravating and even embarrassing, reading about how offended some 'heads got while wearing "heat" along with some of the elitist sneaker attitudes was a bit amusing. Check out a few of the posts below and peep the original thread here.
