Without notice, Nike, in true Quickstrike fashion, released one of the most anticipated collaborations of the year.
While most 'heads were entering raffles for chances to cop the Air Jordan X Retro "OVO," Nike did one better and released the actual shoe with a tweet from the @NikeStore account at 12 p.m. EST today. Sneakerheads who happened to be on Twitter when the link dropped probably lucked out and got a pair.
Nike has made a greater effort of late to equal the playing field for online releases with its implementation of use of its new Launch Drawing System and now with today's true Quickstrike release.
