In 1990, Germany and the world celebrated as the Berlin Wall separating East and West Germany began its fall and Germany would be united once again.
In commemoration of the silver anniversary of Germany's reunification, Nike is releasing an exclusive Air Pegasus 89. The shoe features historical significance as it incorporates the signature camo patterns - Flecktarn and Strictarn - once used by the East and West German Armies respectively. In addition, the shoe also features the years "1990" and "2015" printed on the laces as well as insoles featuring a print of the Brandenburg Gate, one of Germany's most well-known landmarks.
The shoe will officially release at Germany's Solebox beginning on October 2, the day right before German Unity day. For more information and images, head over to Solebox now.
