When we interviewed John Geiger a few weeks back about the sneaker customizer who's been ripping off his "Misplaced Checks" Nike Air Force 1 concept, he hinted at releasing one final pair of the multi-Swoosh sneakers in collaboration with The Shoe Surgeon. Now, we can confirm that it's officially happening.
In the Instagram comment captured below, a user pleads with Geiger for another drop and suggests that he considers a "Blue December" colorway. Although Geiger didn't acknowledge the specific colorway, he did reply simply stating "It's coming," leaving us to our imaginations while the final touches are added behind the scenes.
While this is good news for fans of the "Misplaced Checks" design who haven't been able to get their hands on a pair, we're sure that at least a few 'heads are going to be upset that this release is the last of its kind. Don't get too salty, though, because we have an inkling that Geiger's next project will raise the bar even higher. Stay tuned.
